The Trinity Lecture is an opportunity

and its teaching but also because of their pastoral ability to bring application

Trinity Lecture 2007
Dr Peter Adam, principal of Ridley College in Melbourne,
spoke to us on How to Make the Most of the Bible. Through his lecture
Peter showed us that we can believe the Bible is the word of God but not
actually see or practice the critical implications of this. He argued that
we can believe in the supreme authority of Scripture, but deny this by
neglecting its direct use. The Bible, as God’s powerful words, should be
opened in the counselling situation, as the supreme evangelistic tract, and
for all kinds of discipleship. We thank and praise God for Peter Adam’s
profound insights. It was truly
applied theology.
