Marking, Moderation and Results

The mark you receive will be a letter, based on the following system: 

Letter Grade Percentage
HD (High Distinction) 85-100
D (Distinction) 75-84
C (Credit) 65-74
P+ (Pass+) 58-64
P (Pass) 50-57
F (Fail) 0-49

Moderation

On completion of the exams all results are collated and moderated at the college. These results and samples of students major assessment pieces are then sent to the ACTh moderators across Australia for moderation. The results are then finalised by the heads of each department in the ACTh and transcripts of results prepared by the ACTh staff in Sydney. These results are then posted to the students home address on 26th July (Semester 1) and 13th December (Semester 2). Any concerns about results can be raised with the Registrar of Trinity Theological College or the Academic Administrator at the Australian College of Theology (phone 02 9262 7890)
